About Us
Founded in 1977, KALAGUTHI is a SOFON agency that empowers underprivileged Nepalese women and youth through vocational training in textiles and crafts. Guided by Gandhian principles of self-reliance, the institute manages a full-scale silk production cycle, from mulberry cultivation to weaving. Since 2007, it has been officially affiliated with the CTEVT, ensuring its programs meet national technical standards. This long-standing commitment fosters community service and equality through specialized skill-building.
